This summer, HUB Worldwide collaborated with the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) to facilitate the international delivery of essential medical supplies to Syria. This collaborative effort demonstrates the value of effective partnership and what can be accomplished when uniting with a shared commitment of ensuring healthcare accessibility for all.

Without the contributions of medical facilities, organizations, individuals from Birmingham and beyond, and all the hard work put in by our volunteers, this project would not have been possible.

The success of this project is a testament to the seamless partnership between HUB and SAMS. HUB handled the procurement and preparation of supplies and equipment, while SAMS handled the shipment and distribution of supplies to hospitals in Syria. SAMS is an outstanding organization undertaking crucial work in Syria.

The shipment is expected to arrive in the next couple of months, to which we will share further updates and pictures when time comes. This shipment was valued at approximately $57,760.85 and includes a wide range of medical supplies: surgical instruments, beds orthopedic supplies, emergency stretchers, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, centrifuges, wound care supplies, and more! These provisions will significantly bolster the healthcare providers in Syria as they tirelessly deliver critical care to their communities.
